I am looking at putting a 440 in my 92 Dakota which came with the 3.9 V6. I can handle all the mechanical work but am not sure what to do with the electrical system. Has anyone here swapped in a non-computer controlled engine? If so, how did you wire the ignition, charging system and gauges. Thanks! Bob

just used the stock one... truck charges in the same way the old muscle cars did. if your 92 is different, use a v.reg. from a 88 dak like mine is.. :)
