i am just guessing around 3300 lbs. I know that my truck didnt weigh 3800 lbs stock... i am guessing more like 3600-3700 at most. My buddies fully loaded V8 extended cab pushed the scales at 3890 lbs... so i doubt my single cab, no optioned, V6 weighed the same stock.
havent driven it yet... its gonna be just mainly for show and cruise nights. I am not saying its gonna be the fastest thing out there. It was more of a way of trying to be a little more unique then "stick a 360 in it!".
i didnt remove all that stuff at once.. i removed most of it over the last two years. Just recently i gutted the engine bay and under dash stuff... and that was a bltch!

My truck is going to the body shop to get body off restoration, sand blast frame, epoxy paint, fuel cell, paint the body,engine and tranny 2002 corvette electron blue, detail engine compartment and inner fenders, wheel tubs etc. Should look trick when its done. Mine will be a show truck, and cruise night truck as well. Cause with 3 gears alot of highway is no good. Before I blew apart the 700R4 and converter I got 23.5 mpg highway with 25.5 inch tires and 3.73's.

more info the chebby dude don't know; the 350 chevy turbo is essentialy the same as a 700r4 tranny on the inside with a overdrive gear added,I gotta lot of buds that work in the Drivetrain plant in town and they all say the same thing, I figure since they build them and you only use them, they know A LOT more then you do. A fram off resto HAAA! rusty and not trusty I see. And if you want to run your 357 against a slightly bigger by 3 CI engine I gotta 360 that is so much more then what you got I'll run ya, but its gonna cost ya 2 grand to get into the race, winner takes all. I got my 2 g's do you? I've never been beeet by a small block and most big blocks loose to me,put your money where your mouth is big boy, my Dak is a Drag Race legend in Southern California.
The lightest current generation Dak is a shortbed, small cab, 4X2 with a 4 in it , it comes in at 3320 lbs, the eight only raises the wt to 3395.

Nice engine compartment, thats what I want mine to look like in the end. Thats only a performer intake, why not go higher end, like an air gap or victor jr? Carb hasn't sucked in the foam from the air cleaner yet? Whats with the stickers? My opinnion, it would look sweeter without. My 2 cents. Still need wires and throttle cable/bracket heh.

for a big block, this is all i need right now. I had a Team G intake but it was for 2800-7800 rpms and this motor aint gonna be doing that yet. Right now it will probably only be able to muster 6000 rpms ... or at least i dont wanna go over that with the flat tappet lifters. Thanx for the compliments, but you dont get any points for the internet threaths to the ignorant. Stickers are gonna be removed later.
and the TH350 is not anything near the same as the 700R4. The 700 has everything from weaker casing to weaker internals... and it wasn't just "an overdrive added". I believe the only gear they have in common is the 1:1 3rd gear.

I have decided to stroke the 357 to 348.6 with an eagle crank, and change to a solid cam with somewhere in the neighbourhood of .540 lift, and obviously change the carb to 800cfm. Looking for 500 hp +

The sentence should have read like this:

Even that is incorrect. Proper sentence structure would have read like this:
