 Subject: Beat an F-16!!

On my way home today from work and some cocky punk in an F-16 fighter wants some of my 4.7......I'm just cruising on a two-lane when he pulls up next to me. I just looked over and smirked, cause we all know how fast these race-trucks are.....He motions to go on the third honk- my horn since he doesn't even have one on his pos ride.....After I honked the third time, it was over!
I pulled like 3 lengths right away. He started to pull on me slowly, then he must have pussed out because he gave me the finger and turned off and flew east. Yeah, he didn't want any more. When are any of the automakers gonna make something that's as fast as the 4.7? Anyway, I gotta run, some poor schmuck in a Lightning wants to race for pink-slips.....after that it's some chump in one of those slow-ass R/T's.......
4.7's RULE MAN!! I'm thinking of forming a 4.7 posse!!

That reminds me of this S-10 I seen at a local dragstrip a couple of years back. I seen this mid-late 90's S-10 and it said: "Supercharged" on the windshield. It had some big-ass cowl hood and everything....
I walk over and talk to the guy and he's like 17-19 yrs old. Well, it's a 4.3 with a blower(forget what mfgr). It's his turn to run and I'm expectiiung to see like low-14's/ high-13's. He runs a 16-something and makes about 2 other runs and his best time was 15.80-something. I couldn'r believe it. By my estimate, he had to have had at least $2500 into his truck and that's assuming the blower was used or something! He could have swapped out for a small-block V8.....

Ya I saw the same thing, S-10 with a huge cowl hood supercharged, slicks.....everything. I thought he was badass until he pulled a 15.8 quarter. Ouch!!!

Just to get the facts right:
GROSSETO, Italy -- In a race between a Ferrari and a fighter jet, score one out of three for Michael Schumacher.
Formula One champion's Ferrari F2003-GA was a nose faster than pilot Maurizio Cheli's Eurofighter Typhoon in the first race of 600 meters. The plane then easily won at 1,200 and 900 meters in the drag race at a military airport.
"It was an interesting experience," Schumacher said, adding there was a lot less pressure than facing Formula One rival Juan Pablo Montoya.
Cheli did not gloat over winning the last two races.
"Everyone is a prince or king in their own environment," the pilot said.
Tuscany's Baccarini airport featured vintage cars and planes and a military band to entertain thousands of spectators. Six fighter jets flew in close formation and the event was shown live on Italian state TV.
Cheli's jet and the Ferrari lined up on parallel runways and went full throttle when the green signal came, mixing the deep sound of a jet turbine with a high-pitched Formula One engine. After covering the required distance, the jet went airborne and then landed following each race.
Schumacher won the first race in 9.4 seconds, with the jet 0.2 seconds behind. The jet won at 1,200 meters in 14.2 seconds, with the Ferrari 2.5 seconds back. In the final race of 900 meters, the jet finished in 13.0 seconds, with the Ferrari 0.2 seconds behind.
The Eurofighter's top speed when airborne is listed at 1,521 mph; the Ferrari's limit is 229 mph.
Thursday's event was organized by the Italian defense department and hailed as a demonstration of Italian industry.
