Subject: Air Raid or K&N FIPK IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2001 Quad Cab with a 4.7L. I currently have a K&N filter in the truck, but I was thinking about upgrading.
First of all, is getting either of the above mentioned intake options going to be worth the money? Secondly, which one should should I chose to purchase? I guess those are the main questions that I have. Oh, one more. I am looking into a topper for my truck to haul the dogs. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

Message: You can do a "cold air" system but it should be teamed with exhaust mods as well. A "cold air" intake by itself will only make the engine louder. Get a set of headers and a cat-back exhaust system to go with the intake mods.
