Guys I just got 99 3.9 with auto transmision with 3.92 ratio..
it feel powerfull but not that fast(I just sold my 300zx tt) but feel faster than my girl friends civic...
I wonder if I can keep up 0 to 60 time with some fast sedans, maybe low 7s.

one more question which wheel and tires combination is best off the line?
17" with 245/45? 265/45/17?

Your 0-60 time will be more then 9 secs if it is stock. But like everyone is saying on this sight. The 3.9 is a capable engine and with some minor weekend mods you will be able to smoke a lot of stuff.

mar is correct, my 3.9 has got quite a bit of power. I put on a homemade ram air setup and new sparkplugs. It will smoke a lot of stuff.

I tear up most little Euro cars around here aside from the race built cars. I live in England which is nice for a 3.9 guy because when I tell them I have a 3.9, they drool. Big to them is 2.5. It's unreal. Look at the post entitled 3.9 power recently posted. It's a great testimony to the potential of the V6.
