Message: Clean it when it is dirty, and blocking air flow. If you drive on dirt roads, do it often, if not, do it less. Buy the k&n cleaning agent and oil. It comes in a kit you can get at napa, autozone, anywhere like that, costs abot 10 bucks, and you can use it quite a few times. Also has instructions on how to do it.
