Subject: what supercharger for 5.2 IP: Logged
Message: I have decided that I want to make my truck a bad ass car killer so I have decided to do alot of engine mods instead of outer body work because where I live, there are trucks that win national competitions so going for the best looks is out of the question. So what would be the best supercharger for a 98 dakota with a 5.2?

Message: If you're concerned with cost, the Powerdyne is the least expensive. If you're looking for intercooling to be included with the S/C, ATI makes a good kit...but costs more than the Powerdyne. If you like the "Good Old Boys" blower, Paxton has been around for a long time and they make an excellent blower...but you'll pay for it.
I've seen Powerdyne, Paxton, ATI, Kenne Bell, and Vortech Supercharged 5.2/5.9's run at the track...they're all about equal.
