Sorry Gen1, I meant to direct that message to Merlin. He made the comment:

I was only suggesting that emissions have played a bigger role in combustion chamber design in the last 15 years than anything else and that detonation is one of the biggest concerns because it contributes to the exhaust emissions that deplete the ozone.
