I have looked at several ways to make the truck better but still stuck in the middle , I have a 4 cyl. in it now {what were they thinking }But I have looked at installing a v8 but would have to install a entire drivetrain , or should I turbo the engine I have . If I could get about 100 hp more out of what I got now I would never get rid of it .I love the Truck , Does anyone know any performance tricks for this style 4 cyl.

Problem is, even with 100hp increase, that works out, on average, to about 80 ft/lb more torque as well. I'm not sure how much more power the 4 cyl drivetrains will handle. If you're gonna wind up beefing the drivetrain anyway, you're back to V8 swaps. :-( No easy answers.

i have a performance head for a 2.2/2.5,

the exhaust ports and intake ports are gasket matched[much larger ports]with a shelby cam,

the ports are larger than on a turbo head

both are in very good cond.,and low mileage

i,d sell for $350 plus shipping.

if interested, just leave a message here.
