If you have to choose, I'd get the headers first. Then a high flow cat and exhaust. We carry the Mopar/PPH headers for your truck.

An average exhaust is gunna run you 200 or so ... headers are like 350 plus install... haha have fun on that install.
I got exhaust cause I'm not 100% sure i want headers. I don't think they help us 4.7L guys as much as everyone says.

It really depends on your other mods!
If you are not going to take in more air and fuel, there is little reason to do more than a cat-back for sound. If you are expecting to extract 50+ additional horses at the tires without juice, the whole damn thing will have to go! And for the love of God, don't even think of not doing the y-pipe, it is the most restrictive part of the system and often the most overlooked.

i want to replace the stock muffler on my 2003 quad cab 4.7L 4x4 awd. Dont want to be loud, but want to be able hear a little more v8 sound. Anyone have any recomendations on brands?

We are having a sale on the The Tru dual set up and
the R/ T headers either seperate or as a package
the tru duals on the 4.7 made 14rwhp alone
the headers and exhaust on a recent install on the 5.9
made 31rwhp
