Thumbs down on the spacer, it's a paperweight.

Thumbs up on the HO cams, they supposedly work.

The HO cams did make a slight difference in pulling RPMS quicker, however, I'm not sure they were worth the money (my opinion). My truck (2003 QC 4X4) had the most snap and torque stock...before the cold air/K&N, Gibson, and cams.......

well...

Understand - my point is unless you're trying to squeeze every last bit of performance out of the truck...I didn't think the costs (cams and exhaust) justified the end results. May show up at the track in a couple 10th's of a second, and for some Dakota drivers, that small gain may be the difference between winning an losing to another brand. I think the 600.00 spent on those items could better be spent on accessories or high perf. brake rotors and pads - so the truck will stop!!

or you could just spend $600 on throttle body spacers and be able to hold a bunch of paper on your desk

McyMike,

My Ho cams were $112, shipped to my door, New, a few years ago. Installed myself and a friend. For that cost, they were definitely the best mod to date for me and others.

Happy trails

That was $112, for the pair, not for each.

$120 for my cams shipped. Not installed but have high hopes. Just installed JBA headers, and she definitely pulls mucho better on the top end. There was a slight loss of low end torque, but more than makes up for it in the upper range. I'm quite certain that w/cams my '01 CC 4.7 auto w/3.55's w/be in the healthy 14's.
