Subject: Recommended upgrade order IP: Logged
Message: Can you guys list which is best to upgrade and the order in which they should be done?
I'm interested in:
headers
exhaust
cams
intake manifold
roller rockers
throttle bodies
intake system
performance chip
others...
When you list them, which brand and model you used. If you can give some feedback on which you've listed, that would help too.
Thanks,
Kris

Message: I would have to say...
1)air intake
2)exhaust
3)headers
4)then do the rest in whatever order...but you need to let the engine breath better before you try and squeeze more out of it

Message: Good point. That I plan to do as I currently have some Pacesetter shorty headers that I will install when I'm ready to do my complete exhaust. Then, I'll probably install an Airaid intake system.
It's after that where I become confused with the valvetrain and intake. How do I match up the proper items to each other? I don't want a dragstrip truck as this is a daily driver, but I would like to spice it up and maintain streetability.
Thanks,
Kris
