Subject: O2 sensor IP: Logged
Message: Just wanted to let you guys know that bosch makes a universal o2 sensor for the 5.9. You will need to reuse your existing wiring harness.
Big difference in cost:
Universal before Cat: $64.99
Universal after Cat: $48.99
Heck, the oem ones are like over $100 each.
Part numbers for a 2000 Durango with a 5.9
15729 Before Cat
15730 After Cat
Best thing to do is goto bosch's website and look up the universal one for your Dodge.

Message: Are your plugs looking bad? That is the first step.
Yes, i would do both, again, you can't really tell a o2 sensor when it has too much carbon buildup.
