Anyone see this? I guess its a Hemi Ram package for 2004. Saw it in Mopar Action Mag. Looks pretty
cool but they are vague as to what the package includes. Hope its not a sticker kit. Also the hemi is in the Durango this year, wonder how long before it makes it in the Dakota or if it will
make it at all?

the truck is a 500+ hp supercharged hemi, w/ a hotchkis lowering kit, better brakes, bigger wheels, look out SRT 10!

it is a custom job by a company in southern california. Why would dodge have 2 500+ hp trucks, it would cut from both of them and neither would sell

The Rumble Bee has 500hp Hemi cuz of a supercharger and intercooler. The SRT-10 has a 500hp V10 and has much more potential for building up hp. Each has their own market, and not everyone could afford the insurance on a SRT-10.

Rumble Bee.....Hemi SLT regular cab....only in yellow or black.....Super charged.....500+ HP
There's going to be "SPORT" packages that will have a hood like the Rumble Bee.

Rumble BEE is only available as a regular cab 4WD according to a recent release by DC. It is either yellow or black, with the stripe around the back of the bed. It has a body kit, and the SRT-10 hood (avail. as a mopar accessory.)
I work for a dealership, we got a fax from DC requesting how many we wanted to order. The part about 4WD, I think is a typo, prolly a 2wd. But anyway.... no supercharged hemi, not lowered.....
The 'sport' package will have a different name, but will be the same as the Hemi Express, without the tonneau, and with a ram air hood off the SRT-10.

I saw this truck at SEMA too. Very cool. I live in St. Louis, where the Ram is built, and work in the industry, so I hear some stuff from some of the guys who work there. Over the Thanksgiving weekend 3 examples of this truck rolled out of the factory. Had the stripe package, and a "supercharged" badge, but no supercharger. They were being delivered to Detriot. If I hear any more I'll post it. I believe the magazine article said around 26k for the truck, and 6k worth of what should be dealer bolt on's.

I was looking at new rams, they start at 18000, not to bad. The hemi is a 900$ option. Good so far. Then I find out you can't get the hemi unless you buy the top of the line Ram with all the bells and wissels. that put it at 30000$ what a bunch of bull sh*t

slow rt man - someone isn't telling you the truth. You can get a stripped down Hemi for like $18k if you look hard enough. I almost drove from Austin to IL to get mine =$18k. Decided against it,,glad I did.

Why??? 18,000 that seems like a great deal for a new ram w/hemi power. the 4.7 is a great motor but seems alittle small for such a big truck. Maybe they'll release a bored and stroked version of the 4.7 someday.

The Hemi is a stand-alone option, meaning you can get it on any truck, even an ST (vinyl floors, crank windows). Only think you can't get is a manual hemi in a 1500 truck.
Zendak....Why would you drive all the way to IL when you can just special order for $100 over invoice and have your truck in less than 8 weeks???

Anyone know what the tow rating is for the SRT-10? I havn't seen it mentioned in the magazines. They all say N/A. If it isn't made for towing, Why have a 5,000 pound truck. Bad ass truck But I can't get past the sticker price at 45 grand. Nice with the 6 speed. Truckin is putting it in with a bunch of other trucks for truck of the year award. It has about 200+ hp & ftlbs over the others. Plus the best stopping power.

I was on ebay the other night and found another dodge ram package. called HEMI GTX for the ram
comes with special orange paint, cowl hood, dual exhaust,some stickers and a trans brake. Just kidding on the last part. The paint color is pretty cool though. Do a search on hemi gtx

I suppose I could have ordered it,,,, I probably didn't even think of that, but this dealer in IL had a one on the lot. It was an ST,,but had a few dealer options also which made it pretty attractive to me. This was a while back too,,like the first few days they offered it in a Reg.Cab.1500 model.
I would be extremely upside down on my current loan if I traded my truck,,plus when I was hearing how slow those trucks were running some of the 'hemi-hype' kinda left me. My current '01 4.7 cc auto has beat every hemi I've come across so far. Plus I'm already paying for an '03 I got my mother as a ranch truck.
slowRTman - you can order the hemi on the ST package,,,not sure why it says that,,but you could probably find one on a dealer lot if you look.

I love my 2004 Ram 1500 SXT HEMI reg. cab 4x2 short bed fleet side. It is bright white with dark slate gray cloth, tinted windows and a bed liner. It had 9 miles on it when I test-drove it and decided I had to have it. I was in Arizona at Christmas and had been looking for a sporty truck when I found this truck. I live in the northwest and all the Dodge Rams here are 4 door and 4X4’s. I wanted a sportier daily commuter. I do know that what little I dove it before I came home is it has plenty of go. I told the wife I would leave it stock.

Rat, I have the SRT-10 booklet in front of me, for towing, it says Not Recommended. For maximum weight (cargo, driver, passenger), 900 pounds. Not a very useful truck, but perhaps the sexiest useless truck I have ever seen.
