Subject: Problems After M1 & TB IP: Logged
Message: I have a 99 RC R/T W/Mopar PCM, Mopar Headers, MBRP Catback, Mopar Cold Air Intake & Just installed a 2BBL M1 & A 52 MM Holley TB. I feel a difference in the higher RPM range feels stronger but the motor now seems boggy as if it needs lower gears, I was told that a 52 MM is to big but If you want future mods its a must so I went with one. The odd time I get a backfire to its really wierd. Do I now need 1.7 Rocker to ofset this doggy feeling?? Maybye to much air not enough?? Its mainly when im on the highway doing 75 or more and nail it, it won't come out of OD I have to do it manually and then its alright. I have checked the kickdown cable its tight?? Anyone have any ideas?? HELP!! Also I have put quite a few miles on it since so it's not the PCM Learning anymore.

Message: That seems more of a shifting issue than a problem with the mods. A lot of times the retarded computer won't let you shift at certain rpm's. It does it to mine all the time. But if you do catch it right it takes off.
