Message: 318 and 360 Magnum heads are the same thing.
You can upgrade with 2 forms of the RT head. (Different sized valves) or Edelbrock is comming out with a head for the magnums.

Message: EBL is right about the 318/360 Magnum heads. This has been a source of confusion as pre-Magnum 318 and 360 heads are different in their port sizes. The Magnum heads, even with smaller intake valves (in stock form) will outflow the best 340/360 heads to just under .5 valve lift, and if ported, will outflow even in the higher lifts. Plus, Magnums maintain 75% or better flow balance between intake/exhaust. The W-2 head is based on LA roots, so it'll have the 5 bolt bosses for the shaft rocker arms as well as D-shaped exhaust and smooth, oval-shaped intake ports.
