Hi there Dodge Dakota lovers. I am the girlfriend of a major Dakota lover (and yes I am a fan myself). I am trying to think of a good gift idea for my boyfriend for x-mas and was thinking about getting him a K&N FIPK Gen II Air Intake kit. He has a 2000 Dakota quad cab and loves to accelerate in his baby and I remember him talking about how to get even better acceleration through an air intake system. I did a little looking about found the K&N FIPK Gen II Air Intake piece for about $300 and was wondering if it would be a good idea? Does it really increase the performance and is it a good price? Are there any better models or anything else I should know?

I love it when my girlfriend get stuff for my truck. Anyways
yeah the FIPK is a great purchase should be good for at
least 10 ponies..

There are comparable intakes, for a lot less.
But, as a gift, it's amoung the best as far as name recognition is concerned, and, he'll owe ya!
