Message: The quiet ones can't be all that bad. All Harley Evolution engines have them. I can barely hear mine when I ride, and that's pretty good when sitting right on top of them. It's just enough to add to the whole experience. It's also the first mod recommended for the newer Twin Cam engines. Anyway, it can't be any worse in a truck.
