 Subject: Edelbrock RPM Performer Muffler

Does anyone know anything about these mufflers on a 4.7? A guy is parting out a crashed 2001 and will sell one to me for $20. It is a 2 1/2 center in & out, stainless steel - looks to be in great shape. If it is loud as h+ll and a piece of cr+p I don't want it.
Your thoughts??

Nice muffler...I have one on my '99 with the 5.2. Not too loud but a nice deep tone. They go for like $80-$120 new i think.

Nice, I would take it. That's cheap for a SS muffler. That size in steel you get from NAPA is going to run $40+.
