I was wondering if anyone could tell me what else they put the 3.9L in, besides the dakota, and Whats the biggest difference between the non magnum and magnum. Is it like the LA 318/360's? Thanks in advance.

Biggest external difference - serpentine belt. Biggest internal difference - The oiling in the heads associated with the roller cam. 3.9 was also used in the Prowler and I think also full size truck and van, never paid much attention to sixes after owning a full size van with the older straight 6. Maybe they work OK in the flats but I don't think they belong in hilly areas.
