What should I do to it, or rather what Can I do to it?

right now I'm just interested in the easy/less expensive mods but would like some ideas for after next may when I finish school.

Always been a Mustang guy (still am, just don't have one right now), this is my first truck/Dakota. Are the basic mods all pretty much the same?

Thx for the replies.

I have the same truck...club cab 4x4...I haven't really done much except for a ram's head in the back window, a dodge decal across the front, 31" tires on chrome american eagle 117's, High Flow Cat, dual pipes with 45 to exit the rear corners with 3 1/2 inch chrome tips, Panasonic head unit, 3 MTX amps, MTX thunderform, Alpine type R components, and Alarm/ Remote start...

Hmm, you put in components, then perhaps you could help me out with a question I posted here:

Mines just a regular cap without 4x4.

I just got the same thing Jim... regular cab 97 SLT...

After a tune up and brakes, I think the first thing I'm gonna consider is a Westin Safari Bar w/ some 6" KC lights... and the bug and vent deflectors...

I tow a bike trailer every once in a while, so a hitch will follow soon...
