Message: Looking into some new shocks. The adjustable kind for street and strip. I like the HAL-QA1 but damn , theyre 130 bux ea. Anything else comperable or is that the best for the R/T ?
Do I need to get shocks for all 4 corners to reep the full benefit or will the fronts be OK ? And what size ?
Educate me.
thx in advance !

Message: If your R/T is a daily driver, front drag shocks will make it dangerous to control on the streets. A firmer rear shock will make the tires plant harder on the launch at the strip but will be too stiff for the street driving.
I'm using the stock shocks up front and the Rancho 9-position shocks in the rear. On the streets I set the shocks at 3 and it is stiffer than the oem shocks. At the strip after experimenting I set the driver's side at 4 and the pass. side at 5. Bear in mind that those settings are for my CC with the battery relocated to the rear. That combo. has given me my best 60' times (2.0x).

Message: Its not my daily but I do drive it on the streets. I wouldnt drive it on the street with the shocks on "drag" setting. Looking for something adjustable so I can soften it for the track , and firm it up for the road.
thx
