Have a few questions. I just bought a q/cab 2001 5.9 SLT dakota.
1) What are the stock 0-60/quarter mile times on this vehicle.
2) I am looking for a simple mod for the air filter/intake system, is a k&n drop in worth it?
3) Any free mods for dakota's?

Weel, I'll say hi if nobody else will. Actually, you may have gotten a quicker response on the General board. I've got a 4.7, but yes, the K&N is worth it. Just follow the directions on cleaning and re-oiling after the first 5000 miles or so. I've put 850,000 miles on various K&N filters with excellent results.

hey man,
as for the free mods, try the timming mod that is on all the boards, look fro "free timing mod", it seems to work well for some people and not for others but its free,
