Subject: PCM Flash ??s IP: Logged
Message: Need some help weeding info here. I have an 03 4.7 QC, 4wd w/ manual 5 spd; HO cams/intake, Gibson 3" catback, Fastman TB, TPS adjustment, 360 air intake, 180 t-stat. I have searched through MANY threads on PCM flashes, and can't find what I'm looking for.
Which flash is most beneficial for this powertrain configuration (BG, Leach, KB Optimizer, etc.) - specifically with the manual tranny? Is the payoff with a manual significant enough to justify the cost?
Also, would like to do some specific reading on the Mike Leach flash, but can't find a website - any tips?

Message: I don't believe there is a website for the Leach flash; and it is only for the 2000 4.7. I can tell you a little about it to help compare the alternatives - it cuts out AC for 10 seconds under full throttle, raises timing to 34 degrees, raises speed limiter to the ceiling (256?), and I think might change some of the fuel injection mapping. I've heard people praise both other flashes you mentioned, be nice to see some #s for comparison.
