Subject: DYNO TODAY!! IP: Logged
Message: Getting to go run the dyno later this afternoon. Below is a list of modifaictions I have. I will post results later tonight.
M-1 Intake
B&K Chrysler Flash
21 Lb FMS injectors
Autolite 3923 plugs
50mm ported and polished throttle body
hedman headers
flowmaster two chamber exhaust
165 degree thermostat.
This is at the Air Force Academy so keep in mind the test is being run at 7258 feet. So that'll take roughly 20-25% off the power output.

Message: OK numbers are back corrected for altitude
max is:
314ftlbs at the wheels
238HP at the wheels
corrected
401ftlbs at the flywheel
292 HP at the flywheel
I had some spikes to as high as, 416ftlbs wheel torque and 552 ftlbs flywheel, and 339HP wheel and 450 HP crank during shifts but I threw those numbers out since these were made only during shifts.

Message: During shifts? You didn't just do a 3rd gear pull? That's what most do.

Message: you can't do that with an automatic. All you can do is go thru all the gears 25-90mph and take the best curve.

Message: well, you have to go through the gears but you dont have to down shift... just disconnect the throttle valve linkage to the throttle body. That way when you get into third gear, you can just floor it from say 10 mph and not worry about downshifting.... or at least when i disconnected mine... my truck was in third gear by 10 mph
