Message: Where can this be found, installed and what benefits does it provide over stock. What is the sound level compared to stock. 3.9 with CAI.

Message: I put one on mine about 2 months ago. It's also a V6. It gives the V6 a nice sound. A little bit of a rumble but not too much. If you want to go louder, get the ultraflo.
I bought mine from a local auto parts store. I also needed about a 4 in. piece to make up the length difference.
As far as a driving difference goes, the truck seemed to respond a little better with deep throttle stabs, but I didn't notice a significant jump in hp or anything (no dyno test - just the seat of the pants impression). I also put in a K&N filter and have noticed my mpg go up by 1 or 2. Hope this helps.

Message: I also had one put on recently, it sounds great. DO NOT get the ultra flow, it's too free flowing for the V6. What year is your truck and what is the part number? For my truck it was number 17443, it's 2 3/4 size single pipe with the super turbo muffler, sounds nice. If you have a 97+ dakota, I suggest looking into Flowmaster.

Message: I had one installed about 2 months ago. The sound is great without being too loud and annoying on long trips. I had it custom installed with the single inlet dual outlet and 18 in 3 1/2 inch chrome tips for just under 300. This is leaving the spare intact. One important thing is you will lose some of your low end torque after. But you gain over the 2500 to 3000 RPM marks.

Message: I also put one on a couple a months ago, I ordered the kit, (17443 muffler and tail pipe), from summit delivered to my door for around $115. It sounds great, not to loud at idle and has a good rumble for a V6. I have a 93 CC 4X4 AUTO. Everything fit just like a factory installed muffler, didn't need any extra hangers, or do any cutting. I couldn't get anything cheaper around my area, even my neighbor who has a friend who owns a muffler shop said he couldn't do this for my truck that cheap.
