This is the only mod. I have done to my '00 QC 4.7L and let me just say that I can definitely tell a difference. The sound is much more v-8'ish when I gun it, & the response is tremendous. I've read pros & cons about cold air intakes & I'm definitely a believer now. Good money spent for the return. Now, I'm down to deciding on what muffler to use. A local mechanic in Elmira, NY wants to put a Full Boar Exhause on my system (F-series). Not to much info. about them. I've read plenty of good info. about the magnaflows. I'm looking for a little more noise and maybe a little low end torque gain. I'm planning on keeping my stock piping. Anyone just install a muffler(BESIDES FLOWMASTER) and get results they wanted?
