My Dakota and my Audi are 2 totally different vehicles with different purposes.
I have been an Audiworld member for a couple of years and one thing I have learned is that there's no such thing as an unmodded S4 (for the most part).
Jonh - Hopefully your friend knows that for a mere $600 he can have his ECU chipped and he will be around 315 hp with no other mods. For $6k he can get a stage III kit and be at 412 hp. A turbo enigne is much easier to mod and get respectable power gains than is a NA engine.
Like Jeremy said, you need to ride in that beast. There's no feeling quite like the onset of boost from a twin turbo V6. Sorry, but unless you have some deep pockets, I'll put my money on the S4 every time.

Yesterday my friend took me for a ride on his S4. I found that The car is very fast and has excelent handling,brakes,acceleration and everything else a sports car offers. The AWD is nice and the traction at 1st gear is impressive.
It beats my R/T easily beacause itīs stock. Anyways my friend thinks his car is a unbeatable.
He doesnīt plan to make any mods at all (no chip exaust, turboupgrades even the air filter)
We bat some money about a drag racing each other.
He said like Jeremy Youīll never beat my AAAuuDDIi even if you swap your engine to a 408ci stroker. Poor guy. Iīm gonna beat you with my 360ci modded and stock bottom end! The list below is what I already have and will start the up grades tomorrow:
IAT relocated sensor
FIPK2
Holley 52 TB
Mopar M1 2bbl
mopar 1.7rr and polished valve covers
msd 8.5mm wires
Mallory 6al ignition box/promaster coil
black magic #150 electric fan
headers
dual 2.5" pipes with flowmasters and no cat.
transgo shift kit
NOS and nitrous mastermind(atleast 100hp shot)
325/50/15 BFGoodrich drag radials tires
On the mail: Mopar CPU,15 inch weels and shave some pounds of my heavy truk.
I believe with these mods Iīll smoke my Budīs S4.

jonh you said nitrious wasn't even an option so how did you get from that to building a new motor and swapping it. If that's what it takes to beat a 4-door family car then you've been beat already lol.
