I just purchased a IP Stg III with the 9" powerstack. the tube from the filter is routed to the fenderwell hole and it just doesnt seem to me to be enough direct air coming into the filter. You said yours was routed to the rubber piece by the radiator, is this any better? I ask because it just doesnt feel any different than my stock system with drop in k&n. If you changed it what was the method that you used? Its for a 03 club cab.

THERE WAS A LARGE OPENING TO THE LEFT OF THE RADIATOR ON MY 98 CC W/318. NOW WITH MY 03 CC R/T THERE IS AN OPENING BUT NOT AS LARGE AS ONE,I AM ORDERING MY IP STAGEIII WITH 9"&CERAMIC CANISTER THIS WEEKEND FOR $161.00 I GOT $100 OFF I HAD A GIFT CERTIFICATE I WON AT THE R/T NATS IN MARYLAND

Once you get it installed let me know what you think about it. I didnt really notice much of a change at all now that it is installed. When you put it in youll see that there doesnt seem to be alot of good airflow into that fenderwell. Email me what you think because thats the exact same CAI that I just installed into mine last weekend.
