Does any one know if the hurst comp plus shifter will fit a 2001 dakota. it is only rated up to 2000 through hurst i was just wondering if anyone has had success on later models

thanx for the info just installed mine tonight
and i love it i owe you a beer if your ever in phoenix
everybody, i ordered this shifter from summit took less than a week to get to my door and approx 1 hr to install
not only does it look s#$t hot it works great too

whats your set up?? also did you change your boot with your hurst if so what did you go with ive turned mine 180 for now but it wont last long

i got alot of mods so ill list only the engine related ones.
IP 4 CAI with large cone filter, 70mm F&B TB,IAT adjuster,TPS mod,IAC mod, KRC 206 cams, catless exhaust, CF dual friction clutch, 180 deg t-stat, removed clutch fan.... think thats it.
I had to have a shift boot made by a local upolstry shop. It looks pretty cool and Im happy with it. Ill try and gets some pics over the weekend of it. You can check out my website which lists everything ive done. --->
