Message: Yeah you can use your stock TB. I used mine for a while until I got my F&B TB. You won't get the full potential of the M1 until you uprade the TB, or headers for that matter.

Message: I didn't really notice a lot under 3000 rpm, but 3000 and above it pulled a lot harder. Don't expect a lot from just the M1 though, it's just 1 piece of the puzzle. It's deffinately better than the beer barrel intake.

Message: No rtdkota i haven't bought it yet i was actually shopping around. Parts like that are pretty expensive at our speed shops up here in Montreal, Canada. I've been to the dealer up here and their asking almost $550 plus TAX! Which is crazy. Is it a store you own and do you have a web sight? Because thats about the best price i've seen so far. Thanks for the input.

Message: Hi CDAK,
I saw that you live in Montréal. I'm wondering if you know good machine shop there. I'm in Hull and I got big problem to make my truck running. I put a (1970) 340 block on it and I will like to keep my 318 multi-port system. It can be easy if I just keep the engine with a carburator. But, I wont a fuel injection system.
Or if you have any idea want kind of intake I can buy to put my 8 injectors.
thanks

Message: Hi Frank,
Sorry but i don't know of any machine shops off hand. The Intake i'm trying to get my hands holds 8 injectors but i don't think it will suit your engine. By the way what make engine did you put in? As for machine shops i'm pretty sure there are tons of them down here i'm just not sure where.

Message: I have a 340 block from a 1970 Duster or ... I fully rebuilt hp the block know it's the fuel injections system how give my trouble. I tried 318 magnum heads with my multi port fuel injection, but it's the water circuit how is not the same in a 340 heads and new 318 heads.
And the both partern on a new 318 intake and the old 340 intake are not the same too.

Message: The M1 setup I sell for $410 shipped includes all the gaskets, new by pass hose, and install kit w/new bolts.
Just add a 180 F tstat+tstat gasket, swap some fittings from your stock intake to the M1-- oil change, and antifreeze-- you are all set.

Message: rtdkota that $410 is that tax included? Do i have to remove the valve covers to uninstall and re-install? I know it sounds stupid but i just want to make sure. Because i went to the dealer today and explained the problem with losing oil, Pinging, and power. They wanted 75 bucks an hour to verify what the problem is and to change my oil to verify the consumption. Hell i told them no way cause i'm running synthetic. So this only tells me that they are going to charge me a fortune for the repairs. I hate the dealers...
