I HAVE A 2001 4.7 AND I WOULD LIKE TO IMPROVE THE AMOUNT OF AIR THE TRUCK GETS BUT I'M NOT SURE WHAT INTAKE WOULD WORK BEST FOR MY TRUCK. IF ANYONE KNOWS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

On the Magnum Engines (3.9/5.2/5.9L) KIN Gen-II FIPK is the way to go. (Until Pacesetter get off their duff with their version.)

Have you seen the Volant Performance set-up for the 4.7 ? volantperformance.com
Let me know what you think of their stuff. They've told me $208 + s&h over the phone.
Just curious.

Haven't seen the Volant for the 4.7L yet, will take a look though. Volant had some production problems in the beginning which left a bad impression with some of the people who ordered from them. Fron what I understand, they've fixed everything (shipping times).

I called them around February, or so, and talked to some guy who sounded like he was just the guy who sweeps the floor. In the background, I could hear air tools screamin and another phone ringing. I asked him if they had just sort of started out of somebody's garage. He said, Yeah pretty much. They premiered their stuff at SEMA and thanks to their web site, it seems like they got more than they bargained for. Hope I don't have problems when I order in a week or two, here.
