Is there any company that makes a short water pump for gen 1 dakota with a 318. I hate mechanical fans, and I need a shorter pump. I might even use an electric one, if it is not to much money.

Electric water pumps are meant strictly for racing use only. Since they don't put out as much volume as mechanical pumps, the wouldn't be useful on the street.
