Subject: Suspension and Gearing ???
IP: Logged

Message:
Hello folks,

I have a 97 3.9 Standard cab/bed dak. I want to replace the suspension with a setup off of an R/T. I do not want to sink the money for the Hotchkis setup, I know it is the best but I can't spend the money and I don't want the truck lowered that much.

My question is, what do I need EXACTLY to pull off an R/T to get the entire setup?

Also, I would like to convert the rear brakes to Disc, what would be involved in doing this?

Thanks,

CThomp

There are companies that make a 2/2 lowering (Eibach & Groundforce). You'll find some people that are willing to sell there r/t suspension. Check out the slammed/lowered board. For the disk brake conversion the best deal I have found is at trucktrenz.com (made by SSB). Everyone is still hoping that someone will come up with a less expensive way of doing it. Like using components from an '03 Dak. They have 4-wheel discs.
