Does anyone know if there are shift improvement kits available for the 44 RE 4 spd. automatic transmission? If so, where can they be found? The truck is a '97 318 4x2. Thanks.

I got a level ten performance shift kit and it can work for the 44re.
check out their webpage at http://www.levelten.com
its a hydrosystem valve body recalibration kit. full graphic instructions... a days worth of work to install.
check out the retail price on that baby and get back to me if you want mine for $85
