Set a new best last Friday night at Houston Raceway Park.
15.6 @ 85 mph (hot night, raceing into a headwind, high humidity)
old best
15.7 @ 84mph (perfect barometric pressure, cooold temps, and perfect humidity)
Only thing I've added to the truck since Jan. was the ns performance cold air intake, I ran with my cut out open before the 3rd cat, and I got to use a set of circle track slicks.
If the weather conditions were the same as that Jan. run the time would have probably been around the 15.2 or 15.3 range. Either way it's a new best set in muggy conditions so I'm happy.
01 dak Quad Cab 4.7 lt auto, 3.55 open diff.

Congrats bro! What size were those slicks? I'm runnin' at 84 in the 1/4 but its taking me 16.2 to get there, have to roll out or bad tire spin problems.

So 16.38 at 86 isnt to bad for my all stock 2002 4.7 355gears quad cab 4 wheel drive. I have a pair of mickey Thompson sportsman pros on stock 16 inch wheels for sale. Email me and I will work a deal dont need with 4 wheel drive only a few passes too

Id like 400 tires are like new 8 to 10 passes race tubes on i think they are r/t wheels what ever was stock on truck
