Message: 52mm is way too big for your 3.9L... Even a 50mm F&B is too big for the 3.9L guys.
I sell the 48mm F&B-- has correct linkage, etc.

Message: Hey, why is it too big? I know with a carb you cant overdo it or you lose power. Throttle bodies don't work the same way though. The air is metered in afterwards. If the ports are too big wouldn't it be just like having a lead foot?

Message: Couple things-- balanced intake-- too big on a speed density-- vacuum is affected, does weird things--
Throw a 850 cfm carb on a small block 318-- and you'll experience similar things-- bogggg.

Message: It will run, but it's too big as well-- A 50mm works best on a 318, even up to a mildly modded or stroked motor-- depends on heads, cam, mods, etc.
