Subject: mbrp cuda exhaust IP: Logged
Message: i recently just installed my mbrp cuda exhuast on my 2002 dakota r/t and i must admit it sounds great and it seems to have picked up a notch in throttle repsones too i think. anywho i was wondering to all people who have this certain exhaust what you guys added to ur trucks to bring out maximum performance and sound from the exhaust and everything. right now i just have th exhaust and a drop in K&N filter. i want to get the K&N FIPK II system but want to hear some input first on whether or not there worth it and whats gonnna help me get some gains, and also i heard that this exahust restriced my performance is that true or did i gain some like i think, thanks jake

Message: Well the MBRP seems to be the choice that everyone goes with...
I went a different route on my 2003 CC R/T.
I have headers then I left the 2 front cats alone and where they meet I removed the 3rd cat altogether and run 3" straight back into a Magnaflow muffler with dual 2 1/2" out to the back. Sounds absolutely great.
As for the K&N FIPK that's the best cold air intake around and you will hear the air entering into the TB.
