What does a water injection system consist of? Also is the Black magic electric fan better than a mopar viscous fan? They claim 16 HP gain on V8.

I think you really only need this if you have a SC. It cools the intake air temp like a intercooler. I have a kenne bell and may look into this in the future but for fight now I'm not having any detonation problems. As for the fan that looks like a big gain but who knows .. maybe.

I dabbled into water injection a little in college but never on the level of a full size vehicle. Basically you want a container of water with a lid. One hose goes from your Air hat to the top of the lid. Another hose goes from an air inlet point somewhere, into the container of water and ends near the bottom of the container in the water. As the engine draws air it flows from the second hose into the bottom of the water reservoir then bubbles up throught the water and is drawn into the first hose at the top of the reservoir. Theoretically, the air should be fairly saturated with water. That's a quick and dirty way without involving injectors and stuff. But the pressure loss "sucking" air like that on a full size vehicle may negate any gains in combustion. Just throwing that out there for you. There's lots of articles available on it and it's application in vehicles.
