Message: 180* t-stat is a simple cheap mod with no noticable performance improvement, but a good idea.
Cams will probably be the best bang for the buck. Surprised you didn't do these when you did the intake.

Message: He probably meant the air intake. Which muffler? Do you already have duals after the muffler? Keep the factory exhaust manifolds; good within 2% of headers. 2/3 drop helps handling and some fuel economy/ highway stability.

1. Lower Truck
2. Kenne Bell reprogram on the PCM
3. CAMS (cheap power)
4. 70mm F&B (my choice) T-body
5. Headers, JBA's work very well
(actually increased the mid and top end performance very well, Helps the other Mods to flow better, Kenne Bell and JBA are like the Hatfields and McCoys so take the negative press about each other with a grain of salt)
6. True Duals with high flowing Mufflers
(the myth is that true duals hurt the 4.7L, but in real time they added 3 tenths to my ET, and theoretically 3 tenths is about 30 hp, so don't believe the hype about true duals)
7.180 t-stat,
it's cheap to do, but is close to the same as putting on one of those sloped Ricer (in Japanese) stickers on your truck

Message: I went from a large pipe with a 12" glass pack to True Duals on 2 1/2" pipe with a pair of 12" glass packs and picked up the 3 tenths. Do it how ever you feel comfy with. I'm loading for bear though.
