Subject: Installed Power Windows IP: Logged
Message: I installed my power windows yesterday. I highly recommend the kit from Electric Life. The install went pretty easy after I figured out what the instructions were really saying. It completely replaced the factory crank motors. THE FORUM NEEDS TO HAVE AN HOW TO SECTION... I could do how to's with pic's if they did... Jon

Message: I went from manual to electric and I bought the kit off of ebay for $100 I think it was a steal even if the kit normally sales for much less... go to www.electric-life.com

Message: What is the part number for that kit? I am seeing a part number for the dakota 97-02 kit:
part # CR38-K
Is yours the Dodge Dakota 97-02 or is it universal?

Message: if you have manual windows you have a manual crank and will have to change it to the electric motors... If you like the OE look go to dodge or a junk yard and get the switches from there... But you will still have a hole in your door.
