 Subject: '99 CC R/T vs. '93 Honda Prelude

Last night I some guy in a '93 Honda Prelude 5 speed manual was talking $hit to me about how fast his car was. It was all stock! He kept on saying that he'd smoke me in a race along wqith everyone else there.
Well, we were gonna race but there were too many cops around we didnt want tickets. But he still wants to race me. Do i have a chance at beating him?
I have a 1999 CC R/T with a K&N cold air intake and Borla exhaust.

Definately.... a guy at work has attempted to overtake me in a prelude. Don't know the year but it's all riced out.... my truck doesn't even run right and he was quickly looking at my rollpan.

i use to work a a honda dealer and i can tell you that a bone stock prelude is not that fast. they are only little 2.0 4 poppers with 160 hp i think. i am very sure that an r/t with theose two mods will beat it.

What mod do u think i should start off with? Here's the list of mods that i'm gonna add some time:
-Mopar PCM
-M1 Intake Manifold
-F&B 50mm TB or 52mm Fastman TB
-180 t-stat
How much HP will I be pushing when i add that stuff? thanks,

or the vtec prelude w/ 190 hp in 1993 from the 2.2 not the 160 hp 2.0 still slow tho

If you dont then their is something wrong with your truck and you should just send it to me. I messed around with one a few weeks ago and i had a Bombardier ATV DS 650 in the back of my truck which isnt a small quad. i got hella traction with it and i beat him he hung pretty good about 2 car lengths.

My buddy has 98 Prelude SH with intake and exhaust, dynoed at 220 hp. I have a 4.7 QC with homebrew intake and a 40hp grille inserts and he can pull away from me but not until we get to about 55 or 60.
