I want to put on a "homebrew" flame thrower kit..you know the flames out of the tailpipe trick. Does anyone have this and what did you use for parts. I was thinking of using my stock coil(that I'm not using anymore) and a plug wire and screw the plug into the exhaust pipe. My only problem is hooking up a toggle switch and getting juice to the coil..oh yeah and not burning my Durango to the ground!
BTW, for the haters out there, that are going to say "thats too much rice" the old school hot rodders were doing it before Japan ever made cars! Thanks, Rick

you,ll need a coil,some wire,toggle switch,spark plug and a bung welded to the exsh.pipe for the spark plug,the mister or sprayer from a windshield washer,something to hold gas[mounted where its safe]and a pump.
thats the makings for a flame thrower on a fuel inj.motor
