Subject: Hughes Engines Parts? Any good?
IP: Logged

Message:
Hey...I was searching under camshafts the other day, and I found an age old post regarding hughes engines and how they had a bunch of 4.7 parts that they said were "in the works" but weren't actually releasing. A bunch of folks sent them e-mails telling them to hurry their @sses up. I went to the site yesterday, and they actually have a set of high lift camshafts for sale (bigger than the HO's) ($375), a ported HO intake for sale (No price), and ported TB's that look similar to the Fastman product for $195. Anybody used any of these deals? I'm anxious to try some of this stuff out!

Give it a try. Hughes has been around for years and is reputable. But most Dak owners (especially 4.7L owners) are usually very skeptical about a new product until we see dyno results.

Noone has their cams or modified intake yet for the 4.7L. At least not that anyone has said on this board.

Got the reinforcement kit for the v6 belly pan....
Wasn't impressed, but you really don't have much of a choice in vender selection for the needed part....didn't fit like it should have.... Took it out under the shade tree, made a few adjustments, worked like a charm and so far the pan is free of earl.....you know what earl is?
Well just my $.02.....C ya
