Subject: Hughes Engines Parts? Any good? IP: Logged
Message: Hey...I was searching under camshafts the other day, and I found an age old post regarding hughes engines and how they had a bunch of 4.7 parts that they said were "in the works" but weren't actually releasing. A bunch of folks sent them e-mails telling them to hurry their @sses up. I went to the site yesterday, and they actually have a set of high lift camshafts for sale (bigger than the HO's) ($375), a ported HO intake for sale (No price), and ported TB's that look similar to the Fastman product for $195. Anybody used any of these deals? I'm anxious to try some of this stuff out!

Message: Give it a try. Hughes has been around for years and is reputable. But most Dak owners (especially 4.7L owners) are usually very skeptical about a new product until we see dyno results.
Noone has their cams or modified intake yet for the 4.7L. At least not that anyone has said on this board.

Message: Got the reinforcement kit for the v6 belly pan....
Wasn't impressed, but you really don't have much of a choice in vender selection for the needed part....didn't fit like it should have.... Took it out under the shade tree, made a few adjustments, worked like a charm and so far the pan is free of earl.....you know what earl is?
Well just my $.02.....C ya
