Anyone know how much a 2000 RC 2wd 3.9 auto might weigh? What about the same setup in the old bodystyle?

Mine weighs 3670, spare and half tank gas.
The 4.7L v-8 is about the same weight as the 3.9L, because of the aluminum heads, and other composite parts used.

Uhhhh...much lighter than my '97 CC V6: 4390lbs. w/Driver. (I'm 180 lbs.)

Shi... Mat. I thought those head on my 4.7 Dak were alumininum but just didn't beleive it. The more I drive and learn about my 4.7 the more pumped up I am about the potential as the mod's become available. Perhaps even swaping out the OHC cam's may be a future mod. That would really juice this thing up quick.

Hey Jeffster, I've got cams in the works, so hang on, there may be something coming !!! We sent a cylinder head, and camshaft out to Hughes Engines, and they are researching it!!
Did you know that the 4.7L has Aluminum heads, cast iron block, fiberglass/composite intake manifold, Magnesium valve covers, roller cam followers, oil windage tray, almost-Hemi combustion chambers, with valves that are situated top and bottom, instead of left and right, and has a 9.3:1 compression ratio.
