ok. Just got the stuff for the 3rd cat removal.
Got under the truck with the sawzall and noticed that right after the cat there is a bend and hanger. Doesn't look like there is enough room to add an extension and straight pipe. How EXACTLY did everone else do this. Replace it clear back to the muffler then? Might better do a muffler too then. Can I cut this puppy off and drive it to the muffler shop down the road or am I going to be deaf....

It's not TOO loud after cutting off the 3rd cat. ;-) I agree, might as well let the shop do it after it is off.
