ok i found some nice yoko's that i want, plus they have a 75 dollar gift certificate to crutchfield.com. stock tire size is 215/75-15, and the ones i want are 225/60-15. will those fit on 15x6 wheels?

You could probably fit a 235/65-15. I'd do that if you can. You'll enjoy that little bit of extra traction. Look at the tire specs page of each tire to see what rim size you can use. You could always call tirerack as well.

Cory,

I have a 93' 2wd with 235/75r15 BFG a/t on stock 15x7 rims that only rub when I'm at 97% of max turning. Since the tires you are looking at are 25.6 inches tall vs. 28.9 inches of mine plus they are about 1/2 slimer you shouldn't have any rubbing at all.

Mike D,

I hav only seen that size on 20" rim. Most 17" truck tires I've seen close to that are 305/60/17 nitto 404, 285/60/17 (everybody makes), 345/55/17 BFG, 345/60/17 Pirelli. If you can run car tires the closest sizes to what your looking for on 17" are 305/45/17 bfg, 315/35/17( alot of different brands)335/35/17 (a couple brands), 315/45/17 (goodyear F1). There are some with on 15".

Yoko's are nice tires, if you have a car. I have never seen a good looking pair on a truck. Stick with something like michelin, Mickey T's, or something of that sort.

My buddy put some yoko's on his S10 Extreme "4 cyl" and they have barely laster him 4 months.

just my 2cents worth.
