Subject: 3.9L JBA Header install? IP: Logged
Message: I was browsing around and went to Truck Performance to see how much a couple items were. There headers were way higher than anywhere else (the silver ceramic coated ones anyways). But, I read that the headers bolted right up to the stock Y pipe with basic tools. I popped my head under my truck and it looks fairly staight forward. Has anyone installed headers themselves and how was it? The only thing I can imagine being difficult is manuevering the manifolds out and the headers in. Some input would be great! Bernd: How much for these from you? All you post are the plain ones!

Message: It was one of the easiest bolt-on's you can do. Simple hand tools and about an hour of your time. Too easy.

Yup...installation is very easy. Ok...so we took about 2 hours with beer breaks. ;)
We'll be running a JBA Group Buy on the headers within the next week so hang tight...the prices will be very competetive.
