 Subject: 20" & 18" rim and tire question

With a 20" rim what size tire would retain the stock mph on the speedo on a 99 RT/CC (3.92's). On an 18"? What's the widest rim you can run on the front and on the back? Can you run 275's or bigger on the front without rubbing? Thanks for replies.

Don't know about the 18" But AAA rims said 275/45/20 when buying the R/T chrome wheels

www.tirerack.com go to search by tire size. after you put in your size and enter, go to specs and it will give you the tire height. stock r/t tire height is 28".
