S10's are in a different class than dakotas just like dakotas are in a different class than Lightnings. Also you cannot compare a v8 S10 to a V8 dakota. 99.99% of v8 S10's are not stock motors, 350, 383, 305, 400SB, 327, LT1, LT4, LS1 and even if they are the HP to weight ratio far exceeds anything dodge produces. Here are some facts for you...
1. no stock (non syclone) S-10 can break into the 14's...even given its lighter weight.
2. RC R/T's and RC 4.7 5spds can break into the 14's all day long stock.
you said "an s10 with a SC and nitrous is dangerously fast" well take that truck and compare it to a blown and juiced R/T. Just about anything blown and juiced is fast.

S-10's to Dakotas to Lightnings is comparing Apples to Oranges to Bananas. The only thing in common between them is they are trucks with four wheels.
S-10: Small econobox.
Dakota: Mid-Sized truck with available V8's.
Lightning: Full-Sized expensive powerhorse.
Syclone: Expensive limited edition fast truck.
I've raced quite a few modified S-10's here in Las Vegas (I have lots of fun picking on one particular Extreme club) and none of them come close to beating me - never have, never will.

I want you boys to stop picking on my son. He is not a 'looser'! I should clear a few things up, he is 17 and lives at home with us. I don't know why he spends time doing this on the internet.
